Based in Montreal - QC, Canada
I was born in Blumenau – Santa Catarina state (South of Brazil) in 1984. When I was 16 years old, I moved to Rio de Janeiro to join the rowing team at Vasco da Gama Regatta Club. My ten years as an athlete, which included three gold medals for the Brazilian team, forged my personality, which exemplifies discipline, teamwork, ethics, patience, and the pursuit of perfection.
As a graduate of Industrial Design – Visual Communication from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), I worked as a graphic designer from 2007 to 2010 at SENAC Nacional. In 2007, I also joined TV Globo as a Flame compositor intern. I was one of the twelve who were selected for the internship from more than 2500 candidates in Brazil and one of the four who were hired by TV Globo at the end of the 6-month internship.
In 2013, I went to London to take a 3-month full-time Nuke course at Escape Studios. And then, I've applied in Nuke the knowledge I gained over the years as a Flame Artist. The software has become just a tool to perform the compositions that I create in my mind.
In July 2018, I moved to Montreal, after I received a job offer for the position of Key Artist Compositor at MPC. There I worked on films such as Dumbo, Aquaman, Pokémon, and Predator.
In February 2019, I moved to Mr.X Montreal in the position of Key Artist Compositor, where I have worked on films such as Pet Sematary, Enola Holmes, Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge On the Run, Monster Hunter, as well as several TV series like Cursed, Barbarians, and Knightfall.
